Ignore the layout for a moment. The core game involves one bet and two dice. Bet the minimum on the Pass Line and put the rest of your intended stake behind it as odds. Same money on the table, substantially less of it going to the house. This is not a loophole. It is a standard, advertised feature that most players walk past.

Any 7 costs nearly seventeen percent. It sits in the middle of the table, it pays 4 to 1, and it is the single worst common bet in the casino. Big 6 and Big 8 are pure trap design. They pay even money on exactly the same outcome that the Place 6 and Place 8 bets pay 7 to 6 on. Identical event, six times the cost, and the only difference is where you put the chip. The practical rule: Pass or Don't Pass, backed with maximum odds, plus Place 6 and 8 if you want more action. Everything in the centre of the table can be ignored permanently.

RNG craps is dealt by software. It is fast, which is its main danger — the edge applies per roll, and software rolls far more often than a live table. Live dealer craps streams a real table.
