How we rate betting sites
BestBookies is an independent comparison site. This page explains exactly how we review and score every sportsbook and casino we list, how we make money, and how we keep our reviews current — so you can judge our ratings for yourself.
The four things we score
Every site gets an overall rating out of 5, built from four criteria we score independently. You can see these sub-scores on each review page.
Bonus
The real value of the welcome offer — headline amount, wagering requirement, whether it applies to the bonus or deposit + bonus, and time limits. A big number with punishing terms scores lower than a modest, fair one.
Payments
Supported currencies and networks, deposit and withdrawal speed, fees, limits, and how reliably players actually get paid. Fast, predictable payouts weigh heavily.
Interface
How usable the site and mobile experience are: navigation, bet placement, live betting and casino UX, and stability. Good design that stays out of your way scores higher.
Support
Availability and responsiveness of customer service, the quality of answers, and the languages and channels offered. We test support before recommending a site.
What else we check
Beyond the four scores, every review records the operator's licence, founding year, supported payment methods and networks, market and game coverage, and any Trustpilot signal. For crypto casinos we also look for provably fair game verification. We weight reliable, fast payouts and honest bonus terms most heavily, because they are what separate a good operator from a frustrating one.
