Introduction

BestBookies is committed to protecting the privacy of its users. This privacy policy describes the information we collect, how we use it and the measures we take to protect it.

Data Collected

We may collect the following data:

  • Email address (if you subscribe to our newsletter)
  • For a reward claim: the selected site and offer, your site username, Telegram handle, optional email, deposit proof and claim status
  • Browsing data (pages visited, visit duration, device used)
  • Cookies and trackers (see dedicated section below)

Use of Data

The collected data is used to:

  • Send our newsletter (with your consent)
  • Improve the user experience on the site
  • Analyse traffic and site performance
  • Review reward claims, arrange eligible payments and provide a private status link
  • Comply with our legal obligations

Local tools and private links

The bankroll journal stores its entries and settings in this browser, on this device. We do not upload its notes, stakes, returns or balances. You can export your entries and delete the journal from the tool. Saved sites and recoverable editorial drafts also use browser storage. Clearing browser data may remove these records.

Private reward links reveal only a claim reference, the site, recorded offer, submission date and current status. They do not reveal your contact details or deposit image. Keep the link private; anyone who has it can view the status until it expires or is revoked.

Performance and feature measurement

We measure loading, responsiveness and layout stability, plus actions such as viewing a review, opening a comparison or submitting a form. Our event properties do not include form contents, deposit images, tracking codes or bankroll amounts. Browser analytics exclude administration, private reward-status pages and the bankroll journal. Analytics page URLs are stripped of query strings and fragments, and our Vercel browser events respect Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control.

Cookies

This site uses cookies to improve your browsing experience. Cookies are small files stored on your device. You can configure your browser to refuse cookies, but some site features may no longer be available.

Types of cookies used:

  • Essential cookies: necessary for the site to function
  • Analytics cookies: to measure audience and improve the site
  • Advertising cookies: set by the Meta Pixel to attribute visits to our Facebook and Instagram adverts (see the section below)
  • Affiliate cookies: for tracking affiliate links

Saved sites and calculators

Your saved sites, bookmarked guides, reading positions and read markers are stored in this browser until you remove them or clear site data. These reading preferences are not uploaded to an account. Comparison selections are kept for the browser session. Calculations run on your device. If you share a calculation, its inputs are included in the link and can be read by anyone with that link.

Meta (Facebook) Pixel

We advertise on Facebook and Instagram, and this site carries the Meta Pixel so we can tell which of those adverts actually bring people here. It is provided by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited and it loads on public browsing pages. It is excluded from the admin area, private reward tracking and the bankroll journal.

Specifically, it reports to Meta:

  • A page view each time you open a page, including which page and your IP address, browser and device type
  • An outbound click (an event we call ClicBookmaker) whenever you follow a link to a bookmaker, recording the page you clicked from and the destination site's domain — never your name, e-mail or any account details

Meta may combine this with data it already holds about you if you have a Facebook or Instagram account, and use it to target advertising. You can review and limit that in your Meta account, under Settings → Ads → Ad preferences, and browser-level tracking protection or an ad blocker will stop the pixel loading at all.

We do not use the pixel to identify you personally, and we never send it anything you type into a form on this site.

Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties. Your data may be shared with our technical partners — site hosting, audience analytics and the Meta Pixel described above — only for the purpose of operating and promoting the site.

Data Retention

Personal data is retained for a maximum of 3 years from the last contact. Browsing data is anonymised after 13 months.

  • Right to access your personal data

  • Right to erasure (right to be forgotten)
  • Right to data portability
  • Right to object to processing
